Technological Advances in Dentistry

Jorge Adeler in ColombiaCreative Smiles has been committed to higher quality dentistry and excellent customer service for more than 30 years. Drs. Juan and Jose Loza and Dr. Ralph Lazaro believe that, in this field of rapidly evolving Dentistry, they need to keep up with the technological changes in order to provide the best treatment possible for their patients.

Dentistry has gone digital in the blink of an eye! Congratulations! Creative Smiles Great Falls has taken the most advanced steps in modern dental history. Our office utilizes the latest technology to fabricate your crowns and bridges. A very good example of this would be the Itero digital impression system. Itero is a digital camera that is used to capture the three dimensional shape of your teeth which thanks to a sophisticated image processor creates a highly accurate 3D virtual model for the fabrication of crowns and bridges. The end result is an extremely precise reproduction of your teeth, which result in a very accurate fitting crown or bridge, and we don't need to resort to gooey impression materials. This insures the perfect fit for your crowns with less time spent doing adjustments in the dental chair. Ask our doctors about using Itero for your next restoration.

Another great technological improvement available is the Scanx digital radiography system. No film is required. Digital x-rays expose the patient to significantly less radiation than conventional x-rays, and at the same time provide a high resolution diagnostic image. The images are scanned into a computer via a phosphoric storage plate. These storage plates are the same size as conventional x-ray film, but are actually thinner and softer. The x-rays are taken just like a conventional x-ray but we scan it instead of developing it. This is better for everyone, because chemical disposal or exposure is eliminated. From digital impressions to digital x-rays, these amazing new technologies are changing patient’s lives!

Doctors understand that these technological advancements in dentistry are very important, but they also know that continuing education and training is a must in order to maintain this higher level of dental care to their patients. The doctors are committed to the constant improvement of their clinical and diagnostic skills. The doctors and staff at Creative Smiles will always try to bring the best in dentistry to their patients in a very professional and caring atmosphere. We will always try to make these uncomfortable dental visits for many as pleasant and stress free as possible
